No experience required, we will train
15 1/2 years of age to become a cadet
16 years or older to become a N.J. Certified EMT
18 years old for National Registry Certification (NREMT)
21 years old to drive an ambulance

Cardial Pulmonary Recessation (CPR) – Provider Level
8 hour course – classroom and hands on training.
Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B)
Training consists of:
120 hours of classroom and hands on training.
2 nights (4 hours each) a week and one day (8 hours) on the weekend.


EMT’s are assigned to a duty crew.
Crews stand duty one night a week.
EMT also stand duty one to two weekend duty tours a quarter.
EMT’s can also respond at any time other than assigned duty times.
EMT's can also stand duty during daytime hours.
